About the event
Meet your local guide at the Monument to the Crew of the Golets Ancud, then continue on to the beach for a crash course in the ecology and history of the strait of Magellan. Afterwards, spend some time helping clean up the beach and prevent trash from making its way to the Antarctic circle. Afterwards, warm up with some tea, coffee, treats and good company before continuing on your way.
