Sustainable Tours in Punta Arenas

Our Sustainability Promise

We run our company as sustainably as we can, so that you can feel good about travelling with us.

Living and Working in One of Earth's Last Wild Places

We enjoy the incredible privilege in living in one of Earth's most pristine natural places.

Its rolling pampas, icy glaciers, dense forests and rocky coastlines mark Patagonia as a last bastion of true wilderness. From afar, Patagonia’s natural beauty seems as eternal as the winds that race across it.

But we know that looks can be deceiving.

Insidious threats including plastic pollution, habitat loss, and climate change put our home at risk. That is why we do all we can to tread lightly over Patagonia's pristine landscape.

Small Actions, Big Change

People Powered - Cutting Down on Carbon

We do the majority of our logistical work on foot or by bicycle.

By using people-powered transportation to do our shopping, banking, and other tasks, we reduce the amount of fossil fuels we need to burn to make our tours happen. Watch out for us cycling and walking around the city!

Goodbye Plastic - Reducing Our Waste

By using non-disposable tools for our food services,

and preferring products with minimal packaging, we are able to limit our reliance on single-use plastics.

Off-Grid Office- Divesting from Coal

Our administrative work is all done from our off-the-grid motorhome here in Punta Arenas.

Here, we are able to power our electronics with rooftop solar panels and reduce our reliance on coal-generated power.

Choosing Local- Supporting Our Community

95% of the materials we use on our hiking tours in Patagonia come from small businesses right here in Punta Arenas.

Choosing local helps us get fresher ingredients and reduces food transport while supporting our neighbours and keeping money in our community.
