About the event
Join us for some outdoor fun and learning as we clean up the beautiful Costa Nera of Punta Arenas and learn about the creatures that call these waters home!
Begin the day with a walk along the beach as your guide teaches you all about the history and ecology of the Strait of Magellan.
Afterwards, roll up your sleeves to take garbage off the beach and out of our subantarctic ecosystem. Participate in citizen science and compete for great prizes as you help us safeguard habitat for our ocean-dwelling species.
Finish the day with some warm drinks, snacks, and an award presentation before going on to the rest of your day.
